I`m going to throw a little petrol on the fire here and hopefully come up
with a lively debate.

While its great to have another Genealogy resource, does this offer anything
new?

We have Ancestry, Rootsweb, Genes Reunited to name a few, plus many many
have their genealogy posted on the web somewhere. Personally I have my tree
posted on about 4 different sites and its getting a pain to keep it all
updated. Do we need another? I personally think we need something that will
bring all these resources together. Some people have less available time
than others and do not need to waste it crawling through yet another site
that brings up no results.

I am sceptical about this Wiki but I feel everything deserves a chance. I
can not critique something I have not seen. However, so far I have not seen
anything exciting. I have a very good knowledge of computers and despite
trying to read comments about how to upload I still can not figure out how
to get my gedcom file.

So far I have had more success by putting my Genealogy online and writing my
website address within my signature file.
