Hi Everyone,
I was able to obtain Daniel's service record today. Below is an abstract of that
record.
Daniel Sizemore, Private
Co. H, 4th Kentucky Infantry
Enlisted March 21, 1864, at the age of 19, at Camp Nelson, Kentucky. He was born in
Manchester, Clay County, Kentucky. Personal Description: Eyes - brown, hair -
black, Complexion - Fair, Height - 5'8". He was mustered-in on April 14, 1864 in
Louisville, Kentucky. He died on November 25, 1864 in Lexington, Kentucky of
Variolia (Small Pox). His occupation was a farmer.
According to Daniel's service record he was born abt. 1845.
