Beth,

The Jesse Wilder you have a pension record for is not the son of Sampson
Wilder and Mary "Polly" Adams, he is the grandson. Jesse Wilder, son of
Jesse Wilder and Sallie Prewitt and grandson of Sampson is the one I did
the pension abstract for. Jesse, Jr. was in the Civil War. I am not aware
of military service for Jesse, Sr. or Sampson, although Sampson would be a
possiblilty for War of 1812 service.

David WILDER, who married Nancy ELKINS
