I have authenticated my family back through Neal K. Wilkinson, who lived in Troup County, GA, won land through the lottery in Troup County, and who according to Troup records was originally born in Robeson County, NC about 1803 - 1804. Records in Troup indicate his father was Archibald, who died in Troup before March of 1829. I have reason to believe Archibald migrated to Troup from Monroe County. Am looking for connections backward. Archibald may have been born around 1770, but I don't know if he came from NC, VA or Europe. His wife was named Margaret.
