Dear Paul Boyles
Wilks is a family name in my Byford line background
Wm Gardner Byford (1817-1884) Coachman/cab proprietor married Eliza
Wilks (1821-1900) on 7 June 1839 at St George the Martyr Southwark which
is probably in the Bermondsey area of London. I descend from this line
wherein the 13th child Emily Byford married Leslie Henry Hammond at St
Paul Bermondsey on 18 October 1887. A Byford named researcher is
working on this line, and therefore at the moment, I cannot assist with
Eliza Walks' parents particulars.

Boyles is the maiden surname of Annie Marie (nee Boyles) (b. 19/07/1886)
Burden my children's great grandmother.
The birth certificate shows John Boyles, father, living at Marston,
Farmer labourer and registered in district of Ampthill Birth in the
subdistrict of Cranfield County of Bedford
21/12/1905 Annie Maria Boyles married Albert Henry Burden both 19 years
with Annie living at 17 Richardson Street, High Wycombe - Father, John
Boyles, Carpenter.
Annie Maria Burden's mother's name Sarah Boyles, formerly Goodman. Sarah
Boyles died aged 40 years on 2 December 1891 at Marston Her sister, 'E
Boyles" present at the death Wootton.

4 November 1933 at 88 Green Street, High Wycombe County of Buckingham,
John Boyles aged 77 years, carpenter, died. Informant daughter in law
present at the death also of 88 Green Street, High Wycombe.

More research to be done on the Burden/Boyles/Goodman line.
