The records I have on this family are as follows;

I have visited Joseph's gravesite but have hunted several
times and not been able to find Merena's. Wasn't able to even find a cemetery
in Mount Ayr.

The above comes from papers written by Aunt Ida Rose. She was losing her
eyesight and could not read-so taught herself to type. What she typed was the
family genealogy.I have a copy of one branch of the Willey family and a
smaller piece on one branch of the Cole family.Also have copy of her book.
I have never been able to find anythingabout Samuel Willey's other
children or about Mrs Manning. Did find that there were three men named
Manning killed in the Rev War...maybe one of them was married to her.
