I just recently was given a document written by my great grandmother
about her Willey family in Ohio.

Here is part of it:

andwritten letter by Berniece Celeste Willey-Betz 9-7-1983

"Dad was born and raised in Licking County, Ohio, on a farm Came to town
very young and went to work for B & O Railroad until his death.

His father was--Jack Willey (he is buried at Old Soldiers Cemetery in
Sandusky, Ohio.)

His mother was Lucinda Livingston Willey (she's buried in Cedar Hill
cemetery in Newark Ohio.)

they had four children.
1. who's name I don't know was killed as a young boy ice skating
2. Robert Henry Willey - (Dad)
3. Dora Willey
4. Lottie Willey

aunt Dora married a Livingston (a distant cousin) & had 4 children.
elizabeth, Burdell, Robert and Raymond (Raymond gave them much trouble)

Lottie married a Parsons, had one son and I think his name was Orval or
Orville-something like that.

I remember Dad had an uncle Mom would have nothing to do wit- I think he
made liquor had a still and the (?) caugh him-broke up the still and
put him in the poke. How's that for a family tree?

p.s. 1 I don't remember Grandfather Willey but Grandma Willey was a real
doll.

p.s. 2- I never met many Willey's but the ones I did I liked.

B.C.W.B"

My great grandmother was Berniece Celeste Willey-Betz (married Gerald
Alfred Betz)

Her father was Robert Henry Willey, who's father was Jackson Willey and
mother Lucinda Livingston

Any info on this branch would be wonderful.
