I have been looking for Samuel F. Williams .b. abt. 1815 in Northampton
county,NC or across the borber in VA. He was in the Civil War 1862 .
inlisted in Halifax county. NC. Married Jane Coley 10-10-1864 in
Warren co.NC. Had a son [Henry Williams] b. 1873 in Warren co. They
moved to Nash co. NC. in the 1880 census. Jane signed up for a widows
penson in Nash co,
1904, and got it abt. 3 years before she died. Samuel had another son,
[Andrew Jackson ] b. 1852
in Warren county,NC. I do not know who his mother was. Andrew married in
Nash co.NC. in 1873 to Alice Sexton ,and they had a big farm in
Whitakers twp , near Gold Rock , in Nash co, and lived there until he
died in 1934 and is buried beside the farm house. My grandfather died
at Andrews home and is buried in the same cemetary in 1936. Does any
one know anything about my Samuel Williams??? He is my great Grand
father. [ I'm up against a brick wall ] !!!!
