I am also looking for Samuel Williams parents . He was b. about
1810. Because he went into the civil war in 1862 from Halifax county.NC
The papers states he was 45 when he inlisted. The 1880 census said he
was 70 in 1880. He m. Jane Coley 10-10-1864. in Halifax co. Their son
Henry [my grandfather]
was born in 1873 in Warren co,NC. Andrew Jackson Williams was m. to
Alice Sexton in 1874 the next year after Samuel and Jane were married.
Andrew's marriage say's Samuel Williams was his father , I have seen
Jane Coley in one book and Elizabeth on another book Listed as mother.
Andrew was born about 1851 in Warren co. I saw a Jane Coley listed
as head of household,27 . Sally N.Coley 7,
James A, Coley 6 . Elizabeth Coley 3 this was in Warren co.NC 009
Sandy cre. TWP. Her age matches my Jane when she got a widows pension
in1904 in Nash county. They had moved to Nash co
in 1880 census. He was 70, she was 65 and Henry was with them. he was
