It seems as though we have a Wilson/Friend connection in PA at about the
same time.
John Wilson b. ca. 1768 in Ireland married on 25 Apr 1797 in Hardin Co.,
KY. to:
Elizabeth Friend b. 14 Feb 1772 in Coleraine twp.,Bedford Co., PA
children: all born in Hardin Co. KY.
Joseph b. 1 Sep 1799
Sarah* b. 1802/3
Thomas b. 27 Nov 1805
John F. b. 8 Aug 1807
Eliza b. 1810

Sarah Wilson* (b. 1802/3) married John Pierce Wilson, who was probably a
cousin of some sort. He was born in KY. They lived their married life in
AR. This gives me a double Wilson line.
Their only child, William Wilson b. 1 May 1820 in Lawrence Co. AR.
William and his wife (Mary Jane "Polly" Mills) and her family came to Oregon
Territory in 1843 .
