My wife's 2nd Gr Grandparents were John W. WILSON (c 1816 PA-29 Apr 1869,
Coatesville, Chester Co, PA) and Susanna R. or Sarah HASTINGS (b 1819 PA).
In 1853 he purchased a "marble yard" in Coatesville, Chester Co, PA. They
had the following children:
Charles Hasting WILSON (1845-1885) 1m (wife died) had Lina Wilson who died
in her teens.
Joseph Warren WILSON (b 1848) m. Tabitha Ann VANDEVER
James B. WILSON (b 1852)
Susanna Elizabeth WILSON (b 1857) m. NICKELSON
Sallie A. WILSON (b 1860) m. Lewis YOHE
May or Mary C. WILSON (b 1864)

Josephine Rebecca HOFFMAN WILSON (1845-1935) was the 2nd wife (1869) of
Charles (Charlie) Hasting WILSON (1845 Mononogahela City, Washington Co, PA
- May 1885 died of Typhoid Fever and buried in Mt Pleasant Cem,
Westmoreland Co, PA). He was a gravestone designer and cutter and around
1876 went via covered wagon to KS where he built a sod house, then MO from
1880 to about 1881, and then to Altoona, PA, then Washington St, Mt
Pleasant, PA, then to 116 Gordon St, Edgewood, PA. Their children were:
Charles Wesley WILSON (1870-1952) m. Emma PRICE
Susan Abigail WILSON (1873-1944) m. Joseph A. LANFENDORF
Homer Hastings WILSON (1877-1877)
Mary Letitia WILSON (1875-1954) m. Jacob Zundell FOX
Josephine Rebecca WILSON (1880-1979) m. Charles Craig MOORE
(She was an authored poet and artist; born on the wagon trip in MO)
Roscoe Conkling WILSON (1883-1966) 1m. Mary Helen SWARTZ
(He was a world traveler and author)
Roy Beacon WILSON (1885-1979) m. Dessie BROWN
