Subject: LDS IGI information

> Hello all listers,
> It's been a long time since I've posted, but this situation is really
disturbing to me.
> While checking to see if the IGI was up and running, I ran a quick check
using my Trowbridge, Wiltshire born 2nd g-grandparents James ISLEY and
Elizabeth VINCE. Well, was I ever surprised!! The data is soooo incorrect.
> James and Elizabeth married in 1825, had 7 children. They immigrated to
New Jersey and both of them died there in the 1880's and are buried in
Bayview Cemetery, Jersey City, NJ.
> The LDS has them listed with one daughter Fanny who was born in 1868 and
James's death as occurring in 1860. NOT!!!
> I found a few other things that aren't right, but I won't belabor the
issue right now.
> Now, I'm scared. I always thought that the LDS had the absolute accurate
data.
> Who enters the info into the LDS computer, and while I'm at it, why are
some of the entries duplicates (or almost.)
> And how do I go about getting the data corrected?
> Thanks for all the help.
