Mrs. Ida Andrews, 80, 1236 Sumner St. died last night at 10:30 o'clock in a local hospital after a lingering illness. Funeral services will be next Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Ritter and Deutsch Funeral Home, with the Reverend Marvin A. Schilling, pastor the the First Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
A life-long resident of the Wausau Area, Mrs. Andrews was born in the Town of Stettin, December 8, 1873, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Simon Seehafer. She was married here October 10, 1895 to Fae Andrews, who died April 9, 1948.
Mrs. Andrews was a charter member of local chapter of the American War Mothers. Survivors include two sons, William Andrews, 1236 Sumner St., and Roy Andrews, 1711 Fairmont St.; a daughter, Mrs. Eldon Nelson, Portland, Oregon; eight grand children and 12 great grand children.
