I have Jasper Newton Winfrey b. February 2, 1850 Wyne County, Ky. And d. January 27, 1931 in Pittsburg, Hickory, Missouri. He married Rebecca Jane Reser November 2, 1879 in Hickory, Missour. She was born December 8, 1857 and d. April 29, 1934 in Missouri.
Parents of Jasper Newton Winfrey were Nelson Winfrey and Nancy Richards. He is my 2nd great uncle and 1st cousin 5 times removed. So he must belong to an intermarried branch of cousins somewhere along the way.

His brother Thomas Jefferson Winfrey was my 2nd great-grandfather.
