The Rootsweb regional genealogy lists ask us not to post jokes, poems,
memories, etc. on lists that are specific for localities. Most of these
lists are fairly large, and many of us are on several lists. Things
work much more efficiently, and we lose fewer subscribers, when we stay
on-topic.
