Ginny: could you look on your Sauk County plate map for a family named
Knut Williamson. They came from Norway and was told they lived in or
near Baraboo , Sauk county from about 1850-1865 or so. I have not been
able to find them anywhere in the county, in the census. He had a son
named Cornelius Williams. I've looked under both names. Knut's wifes
name was Anne and they had a daughters Vilborg, Ameilia and son Willum
and possibly Knut.
