OBITUARY EXTRACTION:

NAME & ADDRESS:
Donald James Rupiper, age 69, formerly of Appleton, died unexpectedly on Saturday, July 13,2002, at his home in Tigerton.

BIRTH & PARENTS:
Donald was born on Oct. 28,1932, to the late Henry and Rose (La Mere) Rupiper in Suring.

EARLY YEARS & MARRIAGE:
Donald served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War aboard the USS Midway 441. On Feb. 8,1958, he was united in marriage to Doris Schultz in Brillion, and the couple enjoyed 44 years together.

INTERESTS - EMPLOYMENT:
He was a self-employed building contractor in the area for 48 years. Donald resided in the Fox River Valley for most of his life, although the last five years he and his wife resided in the Tigerton area. Donald loved being in the north woods. He rtras an avid hunter, and loved to tinker around the house and garden.

SURVIVORS:
Survivors include: his wife, Doris Mae Rupiper of Tigerton; one daughter, Donna Rupiper of Neenah; four sons, Dan (Bev) Rupiper of Darboy, David (Lisa) Rupiper of Appleton, Dale Rupiper of Little Chute, Dean Rupiper of Little Chute; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Marie (John) Kamps, Louise Me Mahon, Rose Vander Zanden, Margie Beyer; two brothers, Joe Rupiper Sr, John Rupiper; three sisters-in-law, Lorraine Schultz, Elise Schultz, Lois De Bruin.

PRECEDED BY:
He was preceded in death by: his parents; father and mother-in-law, William and Viola Schultz; two brothers, Alvin and Richard Rupiper; three sisters-in-law, Myrtle Rupiper, Lucille Rupiper, Elaine Rupiper; two brothers-in-law, Roy and Donald Schultz; a great-grandson, Trevor Glenn Thompson.

FUNERAL SERVICES AND BURIAL:
A memorial service celebrating Donald's life will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, at Brettschneider Trettin Lederer Funeral Chapel. Friends may call at the funeral chapel on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
