Michael D. Antiel, 57, died Sept. 5, 2002
Michael Donald Antiel, 57, of Pinole, Calif., who lived in Hudson as a child, died at his California home of a heart attack.
He was born in Duluth, Minn., Sept. 20, 1944. He was the son of Donald E. and Florence (Dulinski) Antiel, who came to Hudson in 1950 when they purchased the Holland Dutch Bakery.
Michael Antiel, with his wife and family, spent most of his adult life in California. He had served in the U.S. Navy and was in the trucking business.
Preceding him in death were his first wife, Rita Wichelmann, in 1986; a brother, Jon M., in 1982; and a sister, Annette.
Surviving are his wife, Leah, a son, Robert, two daughters, Kathy Jo Guerrero and Adrian, and three grandchildren, all of Pinole; his parents, Donald and Florence Antiel of River Falls; three brothers, Ronald (Marilyn) Antiel of Hudson, Alan (Pam) Antiel of Costair, Calif., and Dale Antiel of River Falls; and four sisters, Marjorie (Gary) Selleck of River Falls, Rita (Eric) Starr of Hudson, Connie Mae of Battleground, Wash., and Jean (Rich) Larson of River Falls.
Funeral services were Thursday, Sept. 12, at Wilson and Kratzer Mortuary in San Pablo, Calif.
