Rites Held Friday for Mrs. Blank

Funeral services for Mrs. Charles W. Blank, 91, town of Molitor, were conducted here Friday afternoon at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran church. Mrs. Blank died Tuesday, Nov. 22, of an apparent heart attack at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Doris Vlach, with whom she had resided for over 20 years.

Rev. Marvin Zank officiated and burial took place in Evergreen cemetery. The body lay in state at the Hemer funeral home, Medford.

Serving as pallbearers were Kenneth Frick, Robert Moen, Brian Blank, Randy Peters and David and Roger Wille.

The former Emma Mischler was born November 29, 1885 at Chicago and as a young girl moved to Taylor county, living in the town of Medford until her marriage. She received her education in the town of Medford schools.

She was married June 19, 1912 at Medford to Charles W. Blank, who preceded her in death March 24, 1961. After their marriage the couple lived in the town of Molitor until 1947 when they moved to the city of Medford. Mrs. Blank resided here five years before making her home with her daughter.

Mrs. Blank was a member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran church.

Survivors include two other daughters, Lydia, Mrs. Martin Frick, hillside, Ill., and Barbara, Mrs. Ray Moen, Melrose Park, Ill.; a son, Melvin, Medford; a brother, Charles, Perkinstown; a sister, Lydia, Mrs. A. G. Lindow, Medford, 12 grand children and seven great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a son, who died in infancy, four brothers and two sisters.
