Rites Held for Kenneth Bulin Here August 19

Funeral services were conducted Friday morning at 10 o'clock at Ruesch funeral home, Medford, for Kenneth Bulin, 65, Tripoli, retired Medford businessman who died Tuesday, Aug. 16, at Memorial hospital, Medford. He had been in ill health for an extended period of time.

Services were conducted by Rev. John Stoehr, assistant pastor at St. Mary's Catholic church at Tomahawk and also serving at St. Francis of Assisi at Pier lake. burial took place in Evergreen cemetery, Medford. The body lay in state at the Medford funeral home for Thursday noon until time of services. Rosary devotions were held Thursday evening.

Serving as pallbearers were Morris Anderson, Carl Brandner, Edward E. Erl, Walter Knoll, Martin Mueller and Dick Rudolph. Relatives and friends attending services came from Glidden, Mellen, Marinette, Milwaukee, Chippewa falls, Antigo, Chetek and Tripoli

Kenneth James Douville Bulin was born August 3, 1901, in the town of Chelsea where he attended public school. His marriage to Florence Throm took place at Glidden May 10, 1939. Mr. Bulin lived in this area most of his life. He operated a tavern on the corner of highways 64 and 13, Medford, from 1933 until May 1963 when he retired due to ill health. The Bulins lived on Pier lake the past three years. He was a member of the Phillips chapter of Loyal Order of Moose.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Bulin is survived by his mother, Mrs. Mary Bulin, Marinette; one sister, Beatrice, Mrs. Henry Luckert, Marinette, and two brothers, Ernest of Marinette and Dean of Milwaukee.
