In 1820 Gabriel Witherington md Sarah Cooper in Claiborne, MS. He was a
member of the Reg U.S. Volunteers. (1 Reg't Miss. Territorial Vols.) as a
Private. Gabriel might be related to some of Jack Butler's Witheringtons in
Miss.
