I am interested in finding any information on, Louis Conrad Bowers, and
his parents. Louis was born 1852 in Lima, Ohio. He moved with his parents
to Dupont,Waupaca Cty., in 1866. His father was considered one of the first
German settlers in Dupont. His father was Conrad Bowers, I do not know
the mothers name. Louis married Sara Ann Granger, from Seymour, in 1878.
They moved to Marion Wi. in 1886. He opened a saloon and ran it untill
1900. He sold the saloon due to poor health. Louis died in 1920 and is
buried in Greenleaf
