The Waupaca County Republican-Waupaca, WI-January 13, 1893
Death of Jas. Cochran
Jas. Cochran died Saturday at the residence of his son-in-law, Robert Burns, aged about 76 years.
Deceased was the father of five daughters, the mother and three daughters having preceded him to the other shore within the past few years, Mrs. Robert Burns, Mrs. Robert Pinkerton and Mrs. Wm. McMurtrey. Two, Mrs.; Jas. Stanfield of Waupaca and Mrs. Cash Thomas of Iron River, survive. Mr. Cochran was a fine old Scotch genetleman, and enjoyed good health until the past two or three years. He received several partical strokes of paralysis which finally resulted in a copmlete break down of the system. He was a member of the Scotch Presbyterian faith and in his life time his faith was measured by his works, always for the good of his fellow men. He always had a kind, pleasant work for all.
Card of Thanks - To those who so kindly assisted us during the sickness and burial of our father, James Cochran, we extend our heartfelt thanks.
MRS. C. L. THOMAS
