I am researching the Stewart family. John A. Stewart was mayor of
Clintonville and treasurer of Waupaca County. He married Ella Chambers of
Weyawega. Her parents were William Chambers and Ellen Austin. Her sister
Anna married George Uttormark. John moved to Clintonville from Chicago at
the death of his first wife in 1879. I do not know when the Chambers and
Uttormark and Austin families arrived in the area. Also Ella's brother
William died in 1893. His widow took their daughter and went to live with a
sister in Bismarck, North Dakota. I do not know her name or that of their
daughter. Two of Ella's sisters married and moved to Minnesota, I have no
other information on them.
