New London __ The funeral of Mrs. John Spence, 69, who died at her home on Waupaca_st following a week's illness with pneumonia, was held from the residence at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon and from the Methodist church at 2:30, Rev. V. W. Bell officiating.
Jessie Hutchison Spence was born in London township, Canada April 17, 1857. When four years of age her parents came to this state and settled on a farm at Maple Creek. Here she met and married John Spence on Jan. 1, 1878. They lived on the Spence homestead in Maple Creek until 1911 when they came to this city.
She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mrs. J. N. Bechard of Bear Creek; Mrs. Nell Lisbeth of Two Rivers, and Mrs. John Stoehr of this city; and two sons, Roy Spence of Mapele Creek and William Spence of Bear Creek. There are also two sisters, Mrs. George Miracle of Maple Creek and Mrs. Henry Kiekhofer of Kenosha, and three brothers, Will Hutchison of Maple Creek, Alec Hutchison of Sugar Bush and Tom Hutchison of this city.

New London __ The funeral of Mrs. John Spence, who died at her home on Tuesday eeving following a week's illness with pneumonia, will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the residence 2:30 at the Methodist church, Rev. V. W. Bell, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating.
Jessie Hutchison, born in Langdon township, Canada April 17, 1857, was the daughter of James and Jayne Hutchinson. At the age of 4 she came to this state with ehr parents, who settled in the town of Maple Creek. There she married John Spencer in 1878, the couple settling on a farm where they resided until 1911 when they moved to New London

Bechard of Bear Creek; Mrs. Nell Lisbeth of Two Rivers, and Mrs. John Stoehr of this city; and two sons, Roy Spence of Mapele Creek and William Spence of Bear Creek.
