PAUL PETERS, 82 DIES SUDDENLY

Funeral services for Paul I. Peters will be held Friday, Nov. 27 at Christus Lutheran church at 1:30 PM. Interment will be in Graceland cemetery.

Mr. Peters, 82, of 86 East 12th St., Clintonville, died very suddenly Tuesday, Nov. 24, at his home. He was born May 6, 1888 in Germany, the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Herman Peters. He married the former Lydia Hoppe on Aug. 23, 1911 at the Bethlehem Lutheran church, Pella. He farmed in Pella prior to operating a tavern in Clintonville and Cecil. He then worked for the city of Clintonville until his retirement in 1970.

Survivors are his wife, Lydia; 3 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren, and 2 sisters, Clara, Mrs. John Mansee, New London, and Mrs. Hulda Westphal, Clintonville. A son, Irvin, preceded him in death on Sept. 12 of this year.

Pallbearers will be Daniel and Mike Peters, Frank Grimm, Roy Hoppe, Marvin Kiekhoefer and Maynard Kunschke.
