Hello Listers,

I am new to this list, but not to family history. I am descended from
William Roberts and his wife Elizabeth Prichard (dau of William Prichard of
Bangor, Caenarvon). During his career William was at one stage the Mate on
the Liverpool packet. This couple had three sons, Thomas, bap. 1814, Isaac
bap 1816, Lewis, bap 1819.

Isaac was my gr.gr.grandfather and became a boilermaker - he worked on the
London docks and then moved to Southampton, where I believe he worked for P.
O.

If anyone is researching this Roberts family I would be delighted to hear
from them.
