I've been reading through the availble film list from the FHL Catalogue
and I came across the following:

Title: Electoral registers for the county of Anglesey, 1832-1892
Authors: Great Britain. Court of Quarter Sessions of the Peace (Anglesey)
Notes: Microfilm of original records located at the Isle of Anglesey County Council, Llangefni, Anglesey.
Isle of Anglesey Co. Council call no.: WQC/E/76-98; WQC/E/2, 3, 11, 49.

When I looked at the film details, I saw the years that I'm looking for
the Smart family covered.

Does anyone know what kind of information would be found on these films?

Is an Electoral register like the American Voting Registrar?

Who was eligible to vote in the 1860's-1890's?

Thank you,
