I am still pursuing the Griffiths family of Llanafanfawr.
My ggGrandfather was John Griffiths (1776-1849) of Cribarth. His father, if I have my facts correct, was George Griffiths (1739-1803).He married Anne Morgan of Llandefalle in 1768 by licence. John also had a brother George (1774-1850) who became a Baptist minister at Pantycelyn, Llanfihangel Abergwesyn before moving to Pontypridd where he was Pastor of Carmel from 1821 to 1824. Apart from Edward Griffiths with whom I correspond are there any other members researching this family. I am aware that they hailed from Llandewi Ystradenni in Radnorshire where they were faithful members of the Rock Baptist Chapel. Any further information would be greatly appreciated.
