Hi Lizzie,

I believe you should be able to find the death in the GRO Indexes. If you
give me the details, I could search www.1837online.com as I still have some
credits remaining from some work I did recently. Was it one of your family
(Humphreys?) from Upper Bangor?

Regards,

David Price, Bangor

Subject: [CAE] Overseas deaths

Could someone please tell me where I would find the record of my
grandfather's death in 1956. He lived in Bangor, CAE but was on a holiday
visiting his son in Munchen Gladbach, Germany when he was taken ill and died
over there. His body was bought back here for burial at Llanfaes Church,
AGY.

How are such overseas deaths handled?

Thanks

Lizzie
