Hello All,

Posting again as I only heard from Maggi.

Having a bit of a problem, hoping to solve it with all your help, please.

Margaret DAVIES, formerly GRIFFITH was my x3 grandmother. I have been
unable
to find her birth parents.

On her marriage to Richard DAVIES, in 1825, in Beaumaris, Anglesey. Their 5

children all baptized here.

Next I see them in Liverpool, Lancs on the 1861 census.
Richard states he is a joiner
Census: 1861
Civil parish: Liverpool
Ecclesiastical parish: St Matthew
County/Island: Lancashire
Country: England
Street address: 74 Bostock St.
Condition as to marriage: Married
Education: View Image
Employment status:
Occupation: Joiner
Source information: RG9/2651
Registration district: Liverpool
Sub-registration district: St Martin
ED, institution, or vessel: 13
Folio: 117
Page: 61
Household schedule number: 322
GSU Number: 543006
Household:
Richard Davies Head Mar 64 Joiner Llanfair Dolhairan,
Anglesey, Wales
Margaret Davies Wife Mar 67 Carnarevon,
Llandygai, Wales

This birthplace Llandygai given for Margaret has me very confused.
I have seen reference to LLANDYGAI as GYNEDD, and also CONWAY.

Does anyone have any access to some parish records, to help me find my x3
grandmother's roots?

I would dearly love to be in Wales to do this, myself, but first I must
recover my health from 2 spinal surgeries. I can however, trade the USA
census
records, to which I have access.

If anyone would have some time to help, I would be most grateful. Thanking
you in advance.

Kind Regards,
Marjorie in Nevada, USA
