I am new to the list and researching the ancestors of my grandfather Thomas THOMAS, born 1884 in the parish of Llandisiliogogo.

His parents David Thomas and Mary (nee Jones) were both born in the area (Llandyssul and Troedyraur respectively) in 1850. They lived in a house called Bryn Delyn, in Talgarreg.

Their two older children were James THOMAS born 1875 (who was deaf and dumb) and Susannah THOMAS, born 1873, who married David Williams and lived in Llangynllo.

Children of Susannah and David WILLIAMS were Dewi, Mary and James, all born in Llangynllo around the turn of the 20thC.

If anyone has any knowledge of this family, I would be delighted to hear from you.
