Dear Gareth and List

Having retired from the NHS last Nov and then been enticed back to work! -
the basic contents of Bowen's History of Llanbadarn Fawr have been optically
scanned by a friend. I hope to start proper work on this in July for
Gareth's book indexing project.

Have got side-tracked away from my own family into researching the
connection between the Miller's of Llanbadarn (slate merchants) and a new
Aberystwyth lifeboat commissioned in 1952.

Am (slowly) doing work for cousins in Canada and NZ with mutual North
Cardiganshire interests.

Finally, old PC has stuttered to a halt and finally died. Am trying to come
to grips with new machine and Windows XP, as of this week.

And now the garden needs weeding.
