The name of the place is Rhosnessni, as it is spelt today. It used to be spelt Rhosnessney. Nearby there was a teacher traing college called Cartrefle which is no longer there. The couple you are looking for could have come from anywhere in the country if they were at Cartrefle.
There is a birth record for an Arhur H Hughes in Ruabon in 1914.
