You were asking about two families in Dolgellau.

I think that I was in school with Jennet Wilkinson during the late
1940's/early 1950's.

As to Parkes, a family of that name lived next door to us on Cader Road then
moved to Ffordd y Felin in that same period. I was in school with the son
(Robert Parkes). Mr and Mrs Tom Parkes maintained contact with my mother and
father for several years after we left Dolgellau. Tom also had a brother
Nick, I recall.
