I am looking for any information on the rectory(s) at Llangynog
or near Llangynog 1859 and what records would be available.

Charles THOMAS, my grandfather, was
Christened 27 FEB 1859
written beside of the date he was christened is:
"Llangynog Rectory by Rev. R. Jones Oswestry Wales"

This is all the information I have. I do not know the denomination
of the church. Later my grandparents were involved
with the Methodist movement; this may be what Charles's father
could have been in at the time of his son's christening.

His parents were:
Cadwaladr and Grace THOMAS
Grace's maiden name was JONES

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
