Dot,

I don't know if this is right but here is an entry from the 1851 Census of
Montgomeryshire (CD pub. by Powys FHS):

1851 Census, Parish of Kerry:

DAVIES Mary h w 55 Land proprietor
MGY Berriew Bahaillon /f37/p6

MORGAN Charlotte d u 25
MGY Aberhafesp Bahaillon /f37/p6

RICHARDS Mary Ann gd u 11 Scholar
GLA Merthyr Bahaillon /f37/p6

RICHARDS Louisa M. gd u 8
MGY Llandinam Bahaillon /f37/p6

There is no sign of Thomas MORGAN(s), blacksmith or farmer, of the right
age. If this is the same Charlotte, perhaps she was illegitimate or her
father died young and her mother remarried a DAVIES.

Regards,

Julie Preston
