I have a record from FreeBMD of the birth of Eric Darwant WARD in Welshpool
in 1899. I have found that he was the son of Frederick Darwant WARD, a civil
engineer and his wife Caroline Mary nee Morris who were living in Welshpool
at the time of the 1901 census. I think that Eric was the Eric D WARD who
was a garage owner and aviator who lived in Wallasey, Cheshire in the 1930s
and who later retired to Welshpool.

Does anyone have any connection or know of him?
