Hello Rose
I'll hazard a guess that Laripaw is a mistranscription/misreading - possibly
of Lan[n]igan. The 1851 census shows a Frances Ferrier (living with a John
Ferrier) who was born in Walton (probably Walton West). In 1851 there was a
family Lannigan in Walton West. This family was in Hasguard in 1841 (head
probably Henry Lannigan, "independent", born Ireland) - no Frances, but a
son Henry born in 1828 was born in Walton West according to the 1851 census.
In 1841 there was a Frances Lannigan aged 9 living in Haverfordwest St
Thomas with a Catherine aged 15 [to 19] and a Martha aged 15 [to 19], the
latter described as "Ind" [independent]. Reference HO107/1449/25 or /1450/3
or /1450/4, folio 20, page 1. Maybe there was a connection between these
three and the other group.
A Frances Lannigan was baptized in Talbenny in 1830, a Catherine Wilhelmina
Mary in 1826 and A William Henry Magden in 1828.
Walton West is just north east of Talbenny which is just north of Hasguard
