Hi

I have recently received the will of John Sturley of Dale. He leaves the
furnatiure of his house in St Ishmaels to his niece Elizabeth Gynne. The
will is dated 1814 but I was wondering if anyone has earlier land tax
returns if there is any trace of a John STURLEY (or possibly TURLEY) in the
ST Ishmael area

Just for interest , he dies in Dale in Broomhill with the Davis family who
he seems very close to. He also mentions a Mark Roch of Merryborough. He
is a mariner with about £100 pounds to leave to his family etc. Don't know
an awful lot about him and he isn't on the Welsh Mariners list. Any clues
anyone??
