Greetings Researchers:

Not sure if this is the proper place for my query as most listed seem to be
early immigrants and/or from the east or PA.

My WOLF family lived in Gstitz, Silesia when Joseph WOLF was born 16 Mar
1856. Of course, the area is now part of Poland. Father was Benedict WOLF,
mother Theresia HAUCKE. Joseph was married 28 Nov 1881 to Charlotte BOMMER in
Bochum and I have their civil marriage record, as well as their death records.
Joseph was Catholic and a coal miner as was Benedict. Only one child of
Joseph, my father August Paul WOLF came to US.

Would like to hear from anyone with ties to Gstitz or the Waldenburg area of
Silesia, with suggestions on how to proceed, even if not related to WOLF.
