Dear WOLVERTON Subscribers:

A couple of months ago Rootsweb initiated the idea to have a separate E-mail
list for the WOOLVERTON surname. That is the spelling that my family uses
today, but of course we know that WOLVERTON & WOOLVERTON are
interchangeable.

It was not my idea to start up a second list. This was Rootsweb's idea. Be
that as it may, I want to make sure that everyone knows there is a second
e-mail list. You may wish to subscribe to both lists or drop this list and
join the other list in order that you will not miss out on any important
postings.

I am now the list manager for both the WOLVERTON and the WOOLVERTON E-mail
lists. Also, Rootsweb has set up new resource pages for both spellings of
the
surname which have lots of links for finding additional information on these
spellings of the surname and people you may be interested in finding out
about.

For more avenues of research on the WOLVERTON spelling of the name, go to
the
WOLVERTON RESOURCE PAGE with Rootsweb at:
http://resources.rootsweb.com/surnames/w/o/WOLVERTON/

To sign up for the WOOLVERTON E-Mail list and for more avenues of research
on
the WOOLVERTON spelling, go to the WOOLVERTON RESOURCE PAGE with Rootsweb
at:
http://resources.rootsweb.com/surnames/w/o/WOOLVERTON/

Or another way to subscribe to the new WOOLVERTON list is:

To subscribe, send an e-mail to:

Leave subject line blank (This will be ignored).
In the body of the message type:
subscribe

Then a welcome message will be sent telling how to post messages. Once you
are subscribed, you may send a query to everyone on the list by sending
e-mail to:

I hope this helps.
