My g-g grandfather was John Edmund Womack who was born in about 1807 in Georgia and Lived in Putnam Co Georgia and moved to Alabama and eventually Arkansas. He Married Nancy Louisa Stone (dau of William and Nancy Avera Stone). I want to know who the father of John Womack could be. There is a name in census of 1830 who sound like he might be - Thomas Wamac and then in 1840 it was spelled Thomas Womack. Does anyone know who this Thomas might be. Thanks so much
