Pursuant to my earlier query, Joan Woods was kind enough to send
me information on the family of a Green Woods (shown below) and was further
kind enough to let me post the information to the list. Can anyone
identify (or deny the identification of) this Green Woods with my Green
Woods who came from TN to Harrison Co., TX in 1837 and died there in 1842
and had the following children: Dr. Michael Lambkin Woods (b. 1807 TN d.
1887 Ft. Worth, TX) m. (1st) Sarah Mary Preston (b. 1811 VA d. 1844
Harrison Co., TX), m (2nd) Emmeline Penick; William C. Woods (b. TN, d.
Harrison Co., TX) m. (in TN) Margaret Simpson; Henderson Woods, (d.
Upshur Co., TX) unmarried; Green Woods, jr. resided in Young Co., TX m.
Sarah Holland; and J. G. Woods, a farmer, lived near Waco, TX?

Does anyone have any further information on the Woods family
referred to below? Joan cites the Wood-Woods Exchange Vol1 ,#1 and the
"Age Book of Michael Woods Sen" in the Alabama Genealogical Register.

Any information appreciated.
