Subject: 1872 marriage of John Woolley

I have a birth certificate showing the marriage of John Woolley, age 24, of Hope Street in Hurst to Isabella Fish, age 21, of Dean Street (I believe) in Dukenfield. John, who worked as a cotton weaver, was the son of George & ? Woolley, while Isabella, who worked as an overlooker, was the daughter of Michael & ? (possibly Martha) Fish. This certificate shows that the marriage took place in the Methodist New Cermonion (spelling?) Chapel in the District of Ashton-under-Lyne, in the counties of Lancaster and Chester on July 27, 1872. It is an amazing document!
The witnesses were Thomas & Rebecca HAMER.
John & Isabella, who emigrated to the U.S. with their 8 children in 1884, were my great-grandparents, but I am trying to discover the names of their mothers, my great-great-grandmothers.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to the best way to go about doing this?
Thank you very much.
