We are searching for PRISCILLA COLLINS, born 1868 in Wilkes County, NC, and
died 1904.

She was the first wife of WILLIAM OWEN WOOTEN, born 1867 in Iredell county,
NC, and died July 1935 in Summerset, KY. His parents were OWEN WOOTEN and
SARAH REAVIS. His siblings (children of Owen and Sarah) were BOSS, MATT,
BEDFORD, REBECCA, and CHARLES

PRISCILLA COLLINS was the mother of
GROVER CLEVELAND WOOTEN, our grandfather, plus ED, EARLIE, and MONTGOMERY
WOOTEN.

A family legend says PRISCILLA was either Spanish, Irish, or Indian. She may
have been Melugeon.
