I am trying to locate information on a family with whom I was a homestay
student with.....
Until, recently we corresponded for the last 25 years. The husband of
the family passed away in 1989...however as of March 2002 I have not
received a letter from my "homestay exchange student Mother"....Her name
is Liselotte Matthes, she resides in Kassel, Germany.
My query is has she passed away since March? Can these obituaries be
researched in the local Newspaper, and if so, can I receive a copy?
