George McCrae died 3/4/1888 at Hurlford, Ayrshire, Scotland, aged 58 yrs. He died in the Railway Buildings of Ulcer of the stomach.
Witness was Andrew McCrae son.
George was an engine cleaner.

George was the son of Andrew McCrae and Agnes Wilson of Cumnock and was born 2/7/1830 at Laigh Braes, Sorn, Ayrshire, Scotland..

George firstly married Joan Henderson 24/6/1854 at Tarbolton.Scotland
There were no children.
He secondly married Mary Reid on 31/12/1864 at the Angel Inn, Kilmarnock. Scotland.
They had five children.
