Jeanette 'Nettie' Robertson, ninth child of James and Nancy Robertson, was born on 23 December 1877 in Middleton Township, Norfolk County. Canada

In 1891 she was still at home in Tillsonburg with her siblings and widowed mother.

She was married at home by Rev. McGregor on 22 March 1899 to George W. Anscombe (b.21 April 1878 in Delhi), labourer in Tillsonburg, son of George Anscombe (b.13 September 1852 in Ontario; d.March 1929) and Bessie Elizabeth Fonger (b.17 September 1856 in Ontario; d.November 1931); the witnesses were Nettie's brother David and George's sister Rosetta (b.12 May 1886).

In 1901 Nettie and George were living at 48 McLaren Survey in Tillsonburg.

Nettie died in 1926, he died in 1939 and they are both buried in Tillsonburg Cemetery.Canada
