Clarence H. Walther, 78, of Taylor, TX died Sunday, April 3, 2005, in a
Bartlett resthome. Mr. Walther was born in Williamson County, Texas, on
September 19, 1926, the son of Gertrude (Teichelman) and Herman Walther. On
May 2, 1953, he was married to Doris Schwarz. Until his retirement, he had
been employed with Alcoa for 35 years. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran
Church at West Taylor. Survivors include his wife, Doris Walther of Taylor;
daughter, Sharon Morris and husband Paul of Pilot Point, Debra Foster and
husband Edward of Wimberley; son, Clayton Walther and wife Veronica of
Austin; brother, Raymond Walther and wife Gretchen of Arlington; seven
grandchildren, Lisa Collins and husband Jason, Jared Morris, Chelsea and
Dallas Foster, Aaron, Jeremy, and Riley Walther; and one great-grandson,
Connor Collins. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at
Condra Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday,
April 6, at Condra Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jack Bohls officiating.
Burial will follow in Taylor City Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be
made to Immanuel Lutheran Church at West Taylor or to a charity of one s
choice. Arrangements by Condra Funeral Home in Taylor.
